With the Closed Beta Test recruiting phase closing in next week, SOFT BIG BANG and PMANG released a new gameplay video showing off some of the playable characters in the upcoming test. The trailer is entertaining enough, I was able to check out some of the character skills. I honestly thought that some of the skills and characters was going to be the same as LoL or DOTA but oddly enough they were all unique to their own kind. Which is a big plus, definitely looking forward to playing this game. Still wanting to play that dolphin champion.
The majority of Million Arthur players are unhappy with the new Knight System that was implemented in the Japanese version of Million Arthur. Which I will have to agree with, I too am also not pleased with the Knight System mainly because it is very unfair and not as fun as the original version. With enough complains from the Million Arthur community, Square Enix caved in and decided that they are going to revamp the Knight System along with bringing back the original Million Arthur gameplay that made it fun to begin with. Find out more details on why these changes are happening right after the cut!
The Japanese online gaming market is going through some rough patches recently shutting down at least over fifteen online titles over the last few months and the months to come. Some of the titles are actually well known such as Argo Online, Ecol Tactics, Concerto Gate, Corum Online, Prius, Hellgate, and etc. Oddly enough, I have actually played most of these titles since I have been foreign gaming for a very long time. Heck, I was actually shocked that Concerto Gate was alive for so long! You can probably find an ancient video of it in my Steparu Youtube archives.
NDOORS's upcoming strategic turn based game named Three Kingdoms will be making its' way to Japan hosted by Nexon. I actually had a good time testing the Korean version of this game mainly because it had a lot of unique features and the amount of detail the game has to offer. Originally a smart phone or tablet device title, the upcoming Japanese version will feature cross platform play between the PC and mobile version of the game. That should be interesting, for those of you want to learn more about this title in detail then make sure that you check out my detailed Three Kingdoms Online Preview.
GnJoy Korea also known as Gravity launched their Open Beta service for Steal Fighter Online late last month. They also released a huge game update recently. With that update and the debut of the Assassin class. I decided it was the perfect time to take a look at this game and write up a review of it. Are you ready for another Steparu gaming adventure? Be one of the first to know what Steal Fighter is all about right after the cut!
Appirits Games upcoming online browser based JPRG Seven Fields will launch its' Open Beta service early next week, starting on March 12th. A new gameplay trailer has surfaced on their youtube channel, you can check out it below. Though I wouldn't be surprise if they were delay the test again, I've actually been wanting to test this game out for quite a awhile now. Everytime a test comes up, something always goes wrong with their servers! I used to like playing a lot of JPRG's before I went into the JP and KR scene so playing this is like knocking two birds with one stone. Also the account creation process seems to be really simple, no Japanese captcha.
