The super big Blade & Soul update is closing in! If the community is very lucky, it will launch as early as next week or the week after that. PlayNC Korea just pushed some of the new content in the client launcher, so that the downloads does not become congested on release day. Rumors are saying that the big patch is scheduled to go live on June 26th. During that time they are having a special chicken promotion event. If you were to order chicken for lunch or dinner, you will get 14 days of Blade & Soul time free along with a lot of awesome items and a leveling up package. Nene Chicken will also reward players a "Treasure Box" that has random chance of dropping a LEGENDARY WEAPON upon opening. Dang what?! I definitely know what I will be having for dinner iif I lived in South Korea!
Bored out of my mind, I decided to make a video showing off the ultra low settings for Blade & Soul which was capped at 1024x768 resolution! Some people are saying that it totally looks like a different game. This low res version is more like the super ultra low settings. Normally, you can set any resolution you want and turn down the sliders to from 10 to 1 but this setting is more like for players who have a really... really.. old computer from like 2005 or something. Enjoy Ultra HD vs Ultra SD below!
As promised, I have received the new set of HD Black Desert Online E3 screenshots from Pearl Abyss. Displaying their game at E3 was a very good opportunity to find a NA publisher, though from what I heard, they aren't looking for just any "big company" they are looking for company with the right characteristics that can adapt to their game and deliver good quality service. As for the Korean side of the game, everything seems to be going by very smoothly with Daum, expect a lot of good stuff this year. Hope you guys have a fast connection because you're going to need it when you load all 20 high resolution pictures below!
The Dragon Nest 2.0 Return of the King just went live today along with a brand new teaser trailer showing off all of the new areas and such. The level cap has gone up and new skills have been introduced for each class, check out the teaser page to view them. Players are going to be facing much bigger and harder bosses such as the Dark Grizzly Fury, Vicious Sylphid, Rotten Keeper Nornird, and more. Trailer is a must watch if you're a previous or currently playing Dragon Nest.
Kritika Online will be going through another update this month introducing a brand new area called The Witch's Mansion. A bit early for the whole Halloween spooky theme that the new areas has going on, but you can never complain with content updates as long as they keep on coming. NHN Hangame Korea are also hosting a couple friend invite events and reworking some of the areas and quests so that players can level up faster than usual.
The Korean version of ArcheAge Online will be transitioning into a free to play service starting next month. Now you're probably wondering what is the catch right? The catch is kind of tricky and may not be that big especially for players that just grind and level up all day, the F2P conversion for them should be like the best thing ever. But if you're the type of person that wants to actually play the game for the its' unique features, then you're most likely would want to subscribe to the game. Why is that? Because if you are not subscribe to the game your stamina/labor points will not regenerate and that castle won't build itself! More details below.
