Many of you probably already know that Blade & Soul Online China is going to be F2P. Though you're probably wondering what is the catch? The Chinese version is going to be implementing the dreaded Fatigue/Stamina system that was presented in the Korean CBT3 version of the game. Which means players are limited on what level they can obtain for that day, once their Fatigue/Stamina is gone they have to sit out and just chill in town, PvP, and or stare at their character all day. The fatigue system is implemented in both Normal and Premium accounts, just that Premium accounts will recover Fatigue a lot faster than normal accounts.
EYEDENTITY GAMES just released a new trailer featuring four new playable jobs for Dungeon Striker Online. This is AWESOME mainly because of the unique job system DS has to offer. Players can change jobs at any point, transfer skills from other classes, level up multiple jobs, change jobs without talking to NPC, and more. The job system in DS is a little bit similar to the old school Final Fantasy series where you have to level up some classes to a certain level to unlock new ones. I am assuming that the new playable jobs will unlock in this manner. For example, Warrior + Priest unlocks War Priest. Lastly, the new jobs are Warlock, Blade Dancer, War Priest, and Dreadnought.
The final stress test for the upcoming super kawaii action RPG Dungeon Striker Online kicks off early next week starting on May 7th and concludes on May 9th. If all goes well then the Open Beta is scheduled to go live on May 15th and is F2P! Oh yeah~! A lot of people have been anticipating the Korean release of Dungeon Striker because of the fun and fast paced action gameplay it has to offer. It's pretty much like Diablo and Dragon Nest had a baby or something, which can be a good or bad at the same time. EYEDENTITY GAMES already released the new Open Beta launch trailer that can be viewed below.
Dungeon Hero Online Korea started recruiting players for their upcoming 3rd Closed Beta scheduled to start on May 2nd to May 5th. The funny thing about this beta is that thirty active players will get a chance to become a GM helper during the Closed Beta. After the Closed Beta ends, they are going to hand pick and schedule an interview on the active GM helpers so that they can officially become a GM in the game. The Japanese version was out for a couple of months but was recently shutdown because they are planning on remaking and revamping the game. Well... there goes the idea of trying the Japanese version.
Attack On Titan is one of the hottest Anime and Manga this season, so hot that GREE Japan decided to create a mini mobile game for the game. I actually haven't tried out the game just yet since it looked kind of boring but I thought I would just share it, just in case there are some crazy die hard Attack on Titan fans out there. I've recently got myself hooked on to the Anime and debating on whether or not I should read the Manga. Anyway, for those of you who want to jump straight to the game site and check out the screenies then go ahead and visit http://www.sk-social.com/. Would actually try the game but it looks like Mobage based type of game and I never really enjoyed playing those.
The popularity of card games seems to be rising up very quickly in Japan and South Korea, so fast that PlayNC Korea decided to jump in the TCG bandwagon by announcing an upcoming Blade & Soul TCG. Whaaaaaaat!? Yeah, you got that right and since I am a sucker for this kind of genre I will most likely end up playing it. As many of you may know, there has been a huge burst of mobile games in South Korea lately. With that said, PlayNC decided to step up their game and joined the competition. They are now renovating their mobile gaming department and started recruiting members for their upcoming Blade & Soul TCG.
