Capcom's Ixion Saga will be moving onto the Open Beta Test phase on March 14th, which is only a few days away. What is Ixion Saga!? It is a medium scale 8 vs 8 team based PvP game with lots of sword, magic, and gun action! Unfortunately, the game might have an IP block, though rumors say after you press "Game Start" you'll be able to turn off your JP IP. If you haven't seen the trailer yet, check it out below! If you have, check it out anyway or go watch the Anime version called Ixion Saga DT!
NHN Corp. also known as Hangame Korea teamed up with Kakao Talk gaming services and just released a new version of Fish Island called Fish Friends. The Kakao Talk version lets you play competitively with your Kakao friends while keeping the same old original and fun gameplay that the previous version had to offer. They are also adding a lot of new fishes along with a wide variety of new costumes, fishing rods, baits, accessories, and all kinds of goodies. Check out the latest kawaii anime fishing game trailer right below!
With the Closed Beta Test recruiting phase closing in next week, SOFT BIG BANG and PMANG released a new gameplay video showing off some of the playable characters in the upcoming test. The trailer is entertaining enough, I was able to check out some of the character skills. I honestly thought that some of the skills and characters was going to be the same as LoL or DOTA but oddly enough they were all unique to their own kind. Which is a big plus, definitely looking forward to playing this game. Still wanting to play that dolphin champion.
The majority of Million Arthur players are unhappy with the new Knight System that was implemented in the Japanese version of Million Arthur. Which I will have to agree with, I too am also not pleased with the Knight System mainly because it is very unfair and not as fun as the original version. With enough complains from the Million Arthur community, Square Enix caved in and decided that they are going to revamp the Knight System along with bringing back the original Million Arthur gameplay that made it fun to begin with. Find out more details on why these changes are happening right after the cut!
The Japanese online gaming market is going through some rough patches recently shutting down at least over fifteen online titles over the last few months and the months to come. Some of the titles are actually well known such as Argo Online, Ecol Tactics, Concerto Gate, Corum Online, Prius, Hellgate, and etc. Oddly enough, I have actually played most of these titles since I have been foreign gaming for a very long time. Heck, I was actually shocked that Concerto Gate was alive for so long! You can probably find an ancient video of it in my Steparu Youtube archives.
NDOORS's upcoming strategic turn based game named Three Kingdoms will be making its' way to Japan hosted by Nexon. I actually had a good time testing the Korean version of this game mainly because it had a lot of unique features and the amount of detail the game has to offer. Originally a smart phone or tablet device title, the upcoming Japanese version will feature cross platform play between the PC and mobile version of the game. That should be interesting, for those of you want to learn more about this title in detail then make sure that you check out my detailed Three Kingdoms Online Preview.
