In preparation for the huge update for Alicia 2.0, Ntreev Korea will be launching a test server where players will be able to try out some of the upcoming content for the new version of Alicia Online. Never heard of this game? No problem, Alicia Online is an Anime styled fast paced horse racing game with multiple modes and horse management stuff! The test servers will go live on October 18th and will feature brand new horses, characters, and lots new magical content. Check out the two recently released trailers right below, perhaps they will get you back in the racing mood!
X-LEGEND ENTERTAINMENT just launched a teaser website for Pride of Soul Online. One of the unique features of this upcoming fantasy MMORPG is the aerial combat system. Their main teaser site also has a huge countdown, for those of you who are bored enough to watch it tick, then hop on to their site at http://pos.x-legend.co.jp/. Perhaps they will release a gameplay video or more content on their site once the countdown expires. Anyway, this game is scheduled to have it's first Open Beta service sometime this year. If you're interested in more oriental and flying stuff then check out some of the screenshots below.
For those of you who are out of games to try out this week, Andora Saga recently kicked off it's Open Beta test just a few days ago. Andora Saga is a very simple browser based game that is super easy to learn! I've actually had a chance to try it out early last month and recorded a gameplay session of it. Andora Saga's batttle system reminds me of the old school RPG games like the original Dragon Quest series. GnJoy Korea also released a new trailer being promoted by a popular K-Pop girl group called Brave Girls. Check out the official trailer along with my mini gameplay preview right after the cut.
Nexon Korea just signed a publishing contract with THINGSOFT for their upcoming cel-shaded Anime themed game called Project NT. One of the unique features of this upcoming MMORPG is the Pokemon battle related system. Every time you kill monsters there is a small chance of you capturing them Pokemon style! After you have successfully captured the monster you'll be able to use that monster in battle. Unlike most MMORPG's this game does not have any specific classes because the skills that your character uses are actually monsters. For example, if you press one of your skills that you have equipped on your skill bar a monster will pop out and execute their skill then disappear. Gotta catch'em all, including bosses and raid bosses?!
A very cute browser based game called Lemuria of Phosphorescent will be kicking off it's Open Beta test later today. No fancy trailer available just yet but I do have a handful of screenshots right below. I will most likely try it out because I enjoyed playing other titles from this company. At least Lemuria of Phosphorescent doesn't look as complicated as their previous Anime browser based title that was recently released. It's really easy to register for this game because it provides an OPEN ID registration, so you'll be able to link an account like Google, Facebook, Yahoo, and etc. After that, you should be all set for your Open Beta adventures and have some fun!
ENTWELL just released new gameplay video along with a CBT schedule for their latest MMORPG title called Core Online. The registration page just opened up today, so if you're looking to try out a new PvP and RvR based game. Then perhaps you should take a look at this title. The game already offers a lot of playable classes like Defender, Warrior, Berserker, Blader, Guardian, Healer, Witch, and Magician. As usual, the latest trailer and CBT schedule is available right after the cut.
