Stairway Games and Windysoft first day of Rusty Hearts Focus Group Testing ended last night. If you didn't get a chance to try it yet then you're still in luck, there are still two days of testing left so don't miss it! Angela, Tude, and Frants are the three playable character classes available in the early stage of Rusty Hearts Online. Though I did not get to play the game much due to the short testing period, I thought that the game looked pretty good. Check out the first and only RHO videos of FGT below.
Available Characters!
In this mini preview I played as Angela. She is a very strong character who wields a mega huge sword! Her swings are rather slow but they also have a chance to reflect some enemy attacks per swing. You can roll around each stage by pressing the ctrl key and a specific direction or by double tapping the same arrow key twice. Z is my most favorite key ingame which is the block button or key. You take less damage or reflect specific projectiles which is very useful. You can even block some boss attacks!
Mission 01 Full Preview
The game flows very smoothly and chaining combos is pretty easy in the first few stages. However the harder the difficulty you set your dungeon, monsters become more smarter and aggressive AI wise. For example if you're playing the hardest setting ingame which is "Very Hard" some monsters will block your attack leaving you vulnerable to attacks.
Mission 02
Rusty Hearts is looking very good for players who enjoy an arcade style online gameplay action rpgs. The game runs pretty smoothly on the highest setting and probably does not require much for system specs. I may record more videos tonight and tomorrow of the RHO FGT as any one of the three characters if I get any requests in here or IRC.

... I've been trying to keep track of this game for a while. I knew it'd be good. Too bad it's only in Korea. Hopefully it'll come to NA  . Seems like the camera angel is fixed though. Is it? Also from the looks of it, it seems to require a pretty high performance PC, but as you said it doesn't even in high setting. What is your PC spec? LOL Anyways keep up the great works in providing previews of great international games like this. |
