I spent most my weekend relaxing and playing the Pre-OBT phase of Hyper Universe Online. The server is down for the day in preparation for the Open Beta that is scheduled to go live tomorrow in South Korea. I played a lot of matches and was able to get my character icon for both Jennifer (Super Girl) and Yuna (AI Girl) which requires a minimum of 10 wins. Yuna was my favorite character during the Pre-OBT so I made a short gameplay video of her below. Anyone with a Nexon Korea account should be able to login and play just fine and it's not IP blocked! Ninja added the new trailer!
I was looking for random games to play the other day and stumbled upon Final Fantasy Legends II. I didn't get into the first version much, but I test it out for a bit. Final Fantasy Legends II is an exact clone of the original... not even sure what's new in this version other than it being super free and not hiding behind a pay wall. I actually played this game a lot and you can progress through the story easily due to all the bonuses the developers give away.
The Japanese version of Black Desert Online recently streamed some upcoming content for their version. Although most of the information is the same from what I posted months ago, there's a bunch of new artwork and a tiny bit more information below. The stream covered a lot of things, but I'm focused more on Dark Elf. If you need a little recap or forgot what it was all about then continue on below.
NCSoft Korea just released a new trailer featuring the 10th new job for Blade & Soul Online which is a Gunslinger (Soul Gunner) playable next year. Some of you may remember this old ancient trailer from many years ago. The new job is going to be dual wielding pistols and is able to infuse their weapons with Chi for powerful attacks and bullets. At least from my speculation point of view, check out the teaser below. The Korean version of Blade & Soul is also going to get a huge content update with a new level 60 cap, areas, and more. Lastly, I might be able to try the new job next year because the Korean version is transitioning from P2P to F2P next month!
NextFloor and Kakao just released a new update for Destiny Child introducing the Re:Birth Labyrinth dungeon. Players can enter this dungeon ten times a day and earn tokens. After accumulating enough tokens, players can exchange them into special character skins which completely changes a character's look, hence rebirth labyrinth!. I'm still playing and enjoying this game from time to time despite all of the controversial stuff that has happened with Gacha and other stuff. The game is still pretty good and worth trying out and the developer team seems to be giving out a lot of freebies now and then. I hope they add some co-op or multiplayer features soon~!
Dungeon & Fighter: Spirit is also at G-STAR 2016 this year and a new CG trailer was just released or new to me at least! Some of you guys might have already tried it out last month when I posted a short notice about the Closed Beta. It's pretty much a casual version of Dungeon Fighter because of the whole auto-play system. The original version is still probably going to be the people's choice for now. Just going to have to wait and see! I'll let you guys know when the next beta starts so you can test it out yourselves.
